Hanji ProjectApr 2025 - Aug 2025. London, UK
I had the opportunity to collaborate with the CMF team at PriestmanGoode on an industry-led project, centered around the concept of mono-materiality where we create things using a single material to enhance recyclability and reduce complexity in material separation. This project aligned with my personal research which was developing my thoughts, designs, and creations, which are sustainable for the future.
My main ingredient for mono-material project, is wood pulp from this tree, which is used to make a Korean Mulberry paper called Hanji. The reason I chose this material is due to its unique combination of natural origin, historical durability, and potential for modern reinterpretation.
